..may get you an old Audi.

Kinja'd!!!

This 1983 Audi 100 CD was reported stolen in 1995, and was found using sonar this summer. It was lifted using a balloon attached to the tow hitch.

Kinja'd!!!

It was described to be in surprisingly good condition, with little rust and rolling wheels. The front end was submerged in mud all the time and looked like it just had been polished.

Sadly, these Audis aren’t that rare or desirable, so it’s going to the local junkyard..

Probably just as many electrical problems as when it went into the lake.

Also, the a/c will just need a recharge.

Just one simple fix and it’s perfect, but I don’t have time for it!

Remarkable car, the Norwegian Audi.

Look, matey, I know a dead Audi when I see one, and I’m looking at one right now.

No no he’s not dead, he’s, he’s restin’! Remarkable car, the Norwegian Audi, idn’it, ay? Beautiful paint!

The paint don’t enter into it. It’s stone dead.

Nononono, no, no! ‘E’s resting!

Now that’s what I call a dead car.

Well, he’s...he’s, ah...probably pining for the fjords.

That’s a pretty interesting way to lift a car off of the bottom of a fjord or lake.

Air conditioning may not be a big issue in Norway...

I also came to that conclusion, even if I like being outside in the cold as well.
